With an impressive résumé of work in Television, Film, Comedy, and Print, Lauren Jones has quickly emerged as one of mainstream entertainments hottest and most versatile personalities. Some know her as the star of Anchorwoman in the comedic, partially scripted, reality hybrid show on FOX. Others know her as a real life on-air personality, delivering hard news at KYTX in Tyler, Texas or as a fun and charismatic entertainment host. Lauren has also been seen as a Barker’s Beauty on CBS’ The Price is Right. As an actress, Jones has been seen playing comical characters on shows such as MTV’s Wondershowzen, Nickelodeon’s The Naked Brother’s Band, NBC’s Last Call! With Carson Daly, and as a “pro athlete” wrestling famous faces as a Diva on WWE’s Smackdown. Lauren is also known to transform, playing dramatic, serious characters on soaps like Guiding Light and as a reporter in the feature film, Spiderman III. Lauren’s energy, appearance and adaptability allow her to segue from light character portrayals to meaty and diverse roles as she is always able to find the reality and dignity in her characters…and have fun while doing it! Presently, Lauren Jones appears in ad campaigns as the face of MET-Rx as Miss MET-Rx 2007. In the past, Lauren has gained film credits from feature film, “Anger Management”, and in independent films, “A Perfect Fit” and “Shooting Livian.” She has also popped up in Sundance Film Festival’s “Happy Hour.” Lauren has appeared in Fortune Magazine, Men’s Health, Sync, and has also graced the covers of LA Health and News, Tyler Today, Steppin’ Out Magazine, Sound & Vision, AXL, New York Sportscene, and WWE’s Smackdown. With an outgoing personality, articulation and interpersonal skills, Lauren Jones won the title of Miss New York UN 2006 and is a former NCAA cheerleader. In May 2005, Jones graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BBA in Design and Management. She further completed a study abroad program at the University of Westminster in London, England. Lauren has also studied the performing arts at Weist Barron and Three of Us studios in NY and has worked under private coaching in LA. Lauren currently resides in both NYC and Los Angeles, California, working bicoastal. |
